Jaybahd educates government on how to fight armed robbery, unemployment in Ghana

Jaybahd Jaybahd

Ghanaian rapper Jaybahd has called for a revolution in Ghana's industrial sector to help combat unemployment in the country.

He observed that armed robbery has been on the rise because many people are unemployed.

Jaybahd believes that the rate of unemployment can be reduced if industries are established to provide the necessary employment for the youth.

Therefore, he suggests that instead of investing the country's money in building schools and the National Cathedral, among other things, it would be more crucial for the government to invest in building industries.

"We can do better for Mother Ghana because we have everything. What the government is losing sight of is the fact that most young people complete school and do not find work.

"What the government doesn't realize is that the only way to improve the country is not through prayers but by building facilities to employ the youth. That can help combat armed robbery and thievery in our system," he said.

He added, "The country has enough land, so it is only proper that industries are built to address the issue of unemployment.

"I must say that unemployment is the reason why armed robbery is on the rise, because many of the youth are in the ghettos and on the streets, even with degrees, but cannot find the needed employment."
