Award-winning Gospel artiste Joe Mettle was a special guest on Live FM‘s Sunday Morning Gospel Show Live Praise last week Sunday, March 19.

Mettle lead a devotion session, and also spoke about the possibility of him winning the Artiste of the Year at the 2017 Ghana Music Awards, career, upcoming projects and a lot more.

UK-based International Act, Sonnie Badu has admonished Gospel Musicians to support Joe Mettle to win the Artiste of the year award at this year’s VGMA’s.

Speaking in an Interview on Day break Hitz with KMJ on Wednesday before his departure to Australia, Sonnie remarked that “Joe Mettle is one of the best musicians he has come across and hence there was the need to support him to win the award”. More so when no Gospel Musician has ever won that category, it would be great for Joe Mettle to win the awards, since winning will be an honour to all gospel musicians.

Sonnie Badu who was asked about how he felt being nominated for this year’s VGMA’s noted that he was humbled and “he sees the awards as a healthy competition where whoever wins could leave it as a legacy for their children and generation”, concluded that he was of the believe that the best will win the awards at the VGMA’s.

Sonnie Badu also expressed delight at being one of the many musicians to perform at the Ghana Praise concert. He expressed gratitude to the organizers and Ghanaians. He noted that 60 years of Ghana’s Independence is a time for unity and forging ahead.

Joe Mettle has been nominated for the Artiste of the year category alongside acts like Stonebwoy and Medikal.
