Joey B calls himself ‘King of Rap’ in his 89 music video

Joey B play videoJoey B

Joey B makes us appreciate rap in his new music video titled ’89’ which he features Mutombo Da Poet. This particular music video is unique as it is different from the usual music videos that, we see.

Joey B’s ’89’ shot and edited to look like one that was made in the 80’s brings nostalgic feelings as Joey & Mutombo reminisce about music back then.

The song ’89’ comes from his yet to be released album which also bears the same title was directed by Wan Luv the Kubolor.

We missed Joey B especially when his song ‘UxMe’ became a huge hit and wasn’t around to enjoy the moment.

In the song, Joey talks about being a combination of the late Terry Bumchaka and Okyeame Kwame and identifies himself as king in the line.

‘….how do you even proceed without informing the KING, Bonchaka, rap doctor all in me..”

Well, we don’t want to read soo much meaning into it. Watch the music video below and don’t forget Joey B has a show to play in New York on 23rd November 2016.
