John Dumelo’s kind gesture is touching the lives of some students who may have dropped out of school because of financial crises.

The actor has paid the school fees for over 50 brilliant but needy students of the University of Ghana. According to the actor turn politician, some of these students had no hopes and were planning to defer their courses due to their financial crises.

John Dumelo who is contesting the Ayawaso West Wugone parliamentary seat on the NDC shared his philanthropic gesture on social media made it known that it is something he has been doing since 2012 and he is committed to doing more.

“Since 2012, the John Dumelo Foundation has been paying fees for brilliant but needy students in institutions all over the country. Yesterday we successfully paid fees for over 50 Legon students who would have deferred their course due to non-registration. We are committed to doing more soon. #idey4u,” he wrote on social media.
