John Paintsil to go into movies soon?

Top Ghanaian Black Stars player, John Paintsil has revealed that he is interested in supporting the Ghanaian film industry and might be taking a foray into movies soon.

In an interview with him last Wednesday when Ghanaian actress Kafui Danku premiered one of her new movies from the camp of ABC Pictures, "Letters To My Mother", John Paintsil told Flex newspaper that he had been watching lots of Ghanaian movies and has also been monitoring the scenes for long.

“This is not the first premiere I have attended. It’s actually the third Ghanaian movie premiere I have attended. I have been watching Ghanaian movies and monitoring the scene for long, but today I was invited by actress Kafui Danku and I must confess that the producers are doing well,” he whispered.

The Deputy Black Stars captain stated that although some of his black stars pals are running to support the Ghanaian music industry, his interest lies in the movie industry, and that very soon he might be investing into the film industry.

When asked if he agrees with fans who think he and Agya Koo look alike, he stated that Agya Koo is a fine gentleman who is also doing great in his line of business so looking like him is not an insult.
