US based Ghanaian Reggae Music Producer, John Kwesi Quansah aka John Q finally releases a hiplife single “From Jamaica to Ghana” which is a title track from his 5th album from his record label - John Q Records.
According to 3G Media, after five years of producing Jamaican artistes John Q has finally completed an album in collaboration with his artistes.
The album is entitled; “From Jamaica to Ghana” and already has a single; “Born Alone, Die Alone” out and has received major publicity and subsequent video getting massive viewing on facebook, youtube and featured in some African movies as a preview.
John Q went back to his roots (both Ga and Akan) by collaborating with another US based Hiplife star; Bright of Bub Bak on the song; “From Jamaica to Ghana” with a catchy chorus in Ga and Akan (Adie Akye, Jen Etselé) in English; “It is morning so get up and dance”. The Jamaican stars are; Jah Tempo, Ed Robinson, Lady S, and Tilly Beng hence the title; “Jamaica to Ghana”.
