Jon Germain For Campus Party

POP ROCK star and host of Metro TV’s Allo TiGo, Jon Germain, is expected to lead a number of celebrities to headline a huge party for tertiary students which is scheduled to rock the entertainment scene on August 28 this year.

The event, which will be taking place at El-Clan Nite Café at West Legon, behind Ghana Institute of Management and Professional Administration (GIMPA), is expected be an annual one to celebrate local rap known in local parlance as Kasahari.Dubbed ‘Campus Attraction and Kasahari 12 Years Party’, the event is under the theme ‘Partying Positively.’

The Campus Attraction Party is to bring vibrant and positive students from various campuses to socialize while they celebrate the Kasahari industry.

It’s on record that 12 years ago, the youth in Ghana discovered the modern trend of music called Kasahari (rap), a direct replica of western hip hop and dancehall music.

This invention has seen a great success and transformation in the life of talented Ghanaian youth.

El-Clan and Poison Pill Entertainment, organizers of the show, believe that organizing more of such laudable rap events will be in the interest of the music industry to help more young rappers.

This month’s event is expected to bring together a number of celebrities. Jon Germain will make a special appearance and organizers’ say he has a special package for fans.

XFM presenters as well as its Djs will also be gracing the night. Among them are Ghana’s untouchable DJ Mensah, DJ Rude Boy Sterling, DJ Culture, Dr. Duncan, and DJ Rampage.

Tickets are currently selling at Frankies, XFM and El-Clan. Anyone who buys a ticket gets a free Jon Germain CD.
