An Upper West based Ghanaian journalist, Samuel Mbura, has called for a general blacklist of the songs of controversial dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale on all broadcast platforms.

The presenter who is the host of ‘Day-Break Upper East’ on A1 radio, has pledged never to play any Shatta Wale song on his show, urging other media players to follow suit.

According to him, the 'Freedom' hitmaker who is known for his constant rants has crossed the line this time around by attacking Stonebwoy's disabilty which translate him disrespecting the entire disability community.

“With this abusive and attacks on persons with disability circumstances which isn’t their own design but circumstances, I would NEVER and EVER play any of Shatta Wale’s songs on radio. I would also advocate for a blacklist of his songs within my jurisdiction, May God humble him someday!!!!?” said the journalist.

I am personally advising Nana Appiah Mensah the Boss of Zylofon Media to really be on his feet and quench this fire between his two signees if he really wants his artistes to maintain or increase their level of popularity.

However, the Musicians Union Of Ghana (MUSIGA) should also, therefore, not sit back and watch these two Ghanaian famous artistes fill the hearts of their fans with anger that may lead to “2Pac Shakur – Biggie” issue in Ghana.
