Joyce Blessing needs a proper PR team – Artiste manager

Joyce Blessing says her interview with Delay was doctored Joyce Blessing says her interview with Delay was doctored

Mel Kwasi Davis, an artiste manager and CEO of Event Republic has expressed disappointment in Zylofon Media, handlers of Joyce Blessing, following the gospel musician’s recent interview which has somewhat awakened sleeping dogs.

Joyce Blessing in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show dispelled assertions that her former manager, Kwesi Ernest of Media Excel, was the one that brought her into the limelight.

After critics remarked that her posture on the show reeked of ingratitude and bitterness, the artiste in an interview with Dave Hammer of Hello FM in Kumasi stated that the interview she had on the Delay Show was edited to make her look bad in the eyes of many.

“Delay wants the downfall of artistes. She edited my interview to disgrace me. That was not a complete interview. There was a fight within the interview so I even said I wouldn’t do the interview again. She assaulted my husband verbally,” she said.

Reacting to the issue on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Mel who manages highlife artiste KK Fosu said the gospel diva is talking unnecessarily, adding that he was expecting Zylofon Media to release a statement on the issue.

“When she was going there, she could have made sure that every conversation would be on the album. Who do you blame? I’m a bit disappointed in Zylofon Media. I think Joyce Blessing is talking too much. Secondly, her husband is also talking too much and unfortunately, we don’t have a proper rep from Zylofon handling this matter. She has been signed to a very big label. She needs a proper PR team to handle stuff like this,” he noted.

“Something is not going on well. Something is not right. The bosses at Zylofon need to address some of this as early as possible. Zylofon should be up and doing…,” Mel added.
