The Face of Ghana Movies, Mrs. Juliet Safo Ibrahim over the last month has being working from one set to the other in Nigeria without a day of rest. Speaking to some producers in Nollywood, her movies beat the imagination of the marketers hence her return after child birth is a deemed privilege to have her in their movies.
Leaving Ghana on the second week of October, Juliet Ibrahim has shot four movies in less than two months. Shooting two in Lagos, the most beautiful is shooting her fourth but second in Abuja. Under the umbrella of Nevielle Productions, the action film is produced by Prince Edeh and directed by Alex Mouth, former director of Tinsels TV series.
The movie stares, Olu Jacobs, Patience Ozokor, Juliet Ibrahim, Emmanuel Mensah (American actor), Jim Iyke, Yemi Blag, and many more. Automatically, with such casts the movie would be of a class. The tapes haven’t gotten to the editor’s bench yet the movie is the talk of Nollywood.
Playing a role of an undercover detective, we’ve being told that two productions are on the wait to work with her as soon as she’s done but the co-winner of the Ghana Movie Awards; Best Actress 2010 misses home and begs for a break so she could also have time for preparation toward the launch of The Juliet Ibrahim’s foundation ‘JIF’.
Of course, many foundations have become a nine day wonder but the Juliet Ibrahim’s Cancer Foundation has come to stay, educate and help eradicate the disease. It main aim is to fight against kidney cancer.
JIF would be launched on the 26th of December, 2011. The venue would be announced soon.
Also, Juliet Ibrahim has being nominated for Best Cameo Actress in the 2nd edition of the Ghana Movie Award for the movie, 4play reloaded. And talking about child birth, she was seven months pregnant when she shot the nominated movie. We wish her the best of lucks.
