The family of John Paul Odonwodo, also known as Junior Pope, has requested that the public trust only the Central Planning Committee (CPC) for details regarding his funeral arrangements.
This was conveyed by Junior Pope's older brother, Mr. Ivor Odonwodo, through a formal announcement in Enugu.
Acknowledging the profound sorrow caused by his passing, Mr. Odonwodo expressed that the family takes solace in the meaningful and impactful life Junior Pope led.
"He lived a life marked by his devotion to God, his love for his family and community, and his role as a source of positive influence to everyone he encountered," he stated.
Mr. Odonwodo emphasized that the family's current duty is to honor him with a fitting tribute, which has led to the formation of a burial committee.
He implored the public to consider only the committee's announcements regarding the funeral services.
"The provisional date for the interment of our beloved is set for May 17, while the schedule of events commemorating his departure is being finalized in conjunction with the family.
The CPC will soon release a Funeral Poster summarizing these events for public dissemination," he declared.
