One of the highlights of KODA’s funeral was the heartfelt moment when his colleagues came together to beautifully usher him home.

The massive attendance of gospel musicians, along with their individual performances, was commendable.

However, the most touching moment came when they all took the stage to collectively sing and usher KODA home.

In a rendition of KODA’s popular song 'Yesu Adi Nkunim,' the musicians took turns leading the anthem and, at certain times, sang in unison.

Led by veteran gospel musician Elder Mireku, they performed emotionally as the pallbearers lifted the casket and began the procession for internment.

A group of trumpeters also joined in, leading the family as they followed the procession to the private burial.

KODA’s colleagues from the music industry showed up in large numbers to pay their final respects.

Notable attendees included Joe Mettle, Uncle Ato, Ceccy Twum, Mary Ghansah, Sonnie Badu, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Eugene Zuta, Francis Amo, Diana Hamilton, Nii Okine, Akese Brempong, and Elder Mireku, among others.

The solemn all-white funeral was held at the Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) Dominion Centre on Spintex Road in Accra on Friday, September 20, 2024, followed by a private burial.

Family, friends, and fans from across the country gathered to pay their respects.
