Accra, March 5, GNA - Sizzla Kalonji, one of the world's seasoned Reggae musicians, last Friday rocked enthusiastic fans at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium with an outstanding concert to usher in Ghana's 53rd independence celebration. The event attracted a large crowd including, reggae fans and great stakeholders in the reggae industry.
The show was organised by Lalibela Music Limited and Aduanaba Promot= ion Limited with support from Ghana Television, Radio Gold and Vibe Fm. Sizzla, who was welcomed onto the stage by flames of fire as the audience from all works of life cheered him up, charged on to the stage w= ith blistering intensity. Soon the whole stadium erupted into ecstasy as an audience of both th= e young and old danced and sung along as Sizzla performed his show. He paused as the show unfolded and saluted Ghanaian teachers for contributing to the development of education in the country and asked the= m to work harder for the nation's progress.
Reggae artistes that participated in the concert included Chizzy Wail= er, Black Prophet, Prickie Yhardhey, Combolo, Bandana and Vibration Kings. Sizzla Kalonji was expected to make his last show at La Pleasure Bea= ch on 8th March to end the independence celebrations.
