Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo, has justified her much-maligned shenanigans on social media, asking movie makers to give her jobs if they wish to see an end to it

According to the comical actress, movie makers who attack her for what they call “unnecessary social media act” should engage her in their movies to keep her busy instead of ridiculing her because she “fools” to survive.

Speaking in an interview with ZionFelix, Poloo cited Tracy Boakye for being one of the movie makers who decided to look down on her because of how she portrays herself.

She said, instead of side-lining her, they should cast her in movies because she is a good actress but if she doesn’t get jobs, messing up on social media will be her only source of income.

She told ZionFelix that, “I am a very patient person and if I wrong you, I will go down and apologize so when movie makers disassociate themselves from me I feel bad. I don’t get most of the movies to shoot because they have classified me as a bush girl”.

“I have never been casted as a lead actor in my life, but I have four awards because I act very well. I do it wholeheartedly, so I want producers to try me because they know I am good,” She said.

Commenting on why she is always twerking in public and seen in videos trolling others, Akuapem Poloo said, “They should forget about social media and I have promised not to talk about celebrities again even though that is what brought me into the limelight. I have achieved what I want and it’s ok now, allow me to enjoy myself on social media because it is my hobby, keep me busy if you want me to stop talking about on social media”.

Akuapem Poloo has starred in Obra, Chorkor Trotro, Efiewura and movies such as SideChic Gang, Sala, Away Bus, and Baby Mama. She has also shot music videos with the likes of Asamoah Gyan, Stonebwoy, Guru and a host of others.
