Ghana’s most popular Kumawood actor cum musician Kwaku Manu a.k a Bob Siga has fiercely reacted to”wisdom between whites and blacks” comment by renowned and popular film producer and CEO of KOFAS media Kofi Asamoah.

This follows comments going viral by the CEO of KOFAS media Kofi Asamoah that people from the western part of the world are wiser than Africans and some remarks about the first president of Ghana Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Speaking in an interview on “Showbiz Agenda” on Zylofon FM 102.1, he stated clearly that he supports the comment by the film producer about Africans not being wise but he disagrees with him for saying the late president Nkrumah made a mistake by dragging the whites out of the country after Independence.

According to him, Dr. Nkrumah did a lot of developmental projects that no party has been able to do same so it would have been better he( Kofi Asamoah) had attacked the new patriotic party ( NPP) and the National Democratic Congress ( NDC) because they are ruling the country.

“What Kofi said was true. He packaged the thing but didn’t seal it well. He should have been bold enough to attack NPP and NDC because they are ruling the country now. I support him but I disagree with what he said about Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Kwame Nkrumah undertook a lot of developmental projects that no party has undertaken before. Africans we are wise and have the resources but our leaders are just greedy. I support him for his comment but I disagree with him attacking Kwame Nkrumah”, he said.

He further stated that he doesn’t see the reason why Ghanaians should vote because there isn’t any benefit for voting in Ghana.

According to him, it would have been better parliament always sits down to assess performances of presidents to decide whether to continue his term or should step down. “There is no need for voting. It`s high time Ghanaians learn to be wise. It will be better parliament always decides who to rule.

They look at your performance every term and decide whether you should continue or not” he stressed out.

Meanwhile, speaking to film producer and CEO of KOFAS media Kofi Asamoah on phone on the show, he pointed out that his comments were never meant to be an insult but just to express how things are going on in the African continent.”Sammy, my comments were not to insult but to motivate Africans.

We have the resources and wisdom but we don’t know how to use. Yes! We have madmen and people living in the streets here as Kwaku Manu said but the general conditions for living here are better than Africa.

They say Africans made the States what it is today but it wasn’t through our own will but rather we were forced.

I never meant to insult blacks because I’m also a black man. I’m from Ghana and I’m here for my education after I’m done, I will come back to Ghana.

Kwame Nkrumah said the Independence of Ghana is nothing unless it`s being linked to the liberation of the African continent. Is that what we are seeing today” he asked.
