Africa’s ‘music man’ has revealed he is working with Ghana’s evergreen highlife champ Daddy Lumba on a brand new song.
This would be the first time Ghana will hear the two legends sing together.
“I’m actually planning something with DL. I have met with him a couple of times and he is a beautiful soul,” Kojo Antwi said on Accra-based Joy FM's Drive Time with Lexis Bill on Thursday.
Both Kojo Antwi and DL have been named LEGENDS by Ghana’s prestigious lifetime achievement awards brand, Legends and Legacy.
At a ball, which attracted performances from some of Ghana’s talented young singers, as well as seasoned musicians, the “Tom and Jerry” hit maker was presented with a gold medal, a plaque and other symbolic presents in recognition of his hard work, success and contribution to the country’s entertainment industry.
Kojo Antwi has also hinted at his desire to produce a song that features both Daddy Lumba and Amakye Dede.
According to him, the three of them could form music’s “Three Wise Men”.
