The new generation of Ghanaian artists are in a good place at the moment but when it comes to live performances, they still lag behind the legends and Slip Entertainment settled that deliberation on the eve of Ghana’s Independence Day – and www.entertainmentgh.com witnessed the spectacle.
The likes of MzVee and eShun put up good performances but Amandzeba and most especially, Kojo Antwi exhibited such dexterity, verve and proficiency with the live performance and patrons left the auditorium with no doubt in their minds on who is boss when it comes to live band action.
The Slip Entertainment –MTN concert was properly organized; with all the technical detail in order – and with tickets sold only via SMS, the patronage was impressive. No artist on the bill faltered and the band that played for them did extremely well.
MzVee and eShun brought some youthful edge and exuberance on the show, Amandzeba inculcated such growth and quality and Kojo Antwi brought the house down!
Kojo Antwi hardly eases up on his entries and MTN Music Festival was another spectacle – that cemented the legend’s legacy as one who really understands the craft and executes it perfectly.
Patrons danced, danced and danced throughout the concert as they showed their affinity to live performances.
For Slip Entertainment and MTN, the electronic ticketing worked – with no form of crowd gathering or queuing at the gates; it was a superb show!
The audience were in their element as they gave the artists the reaction they sought – singing along and dancing their hearts out – and the idea to add the likes of Lekzy De Comic and RhymeSonny was a good one, as they delivered well.
Surely, Slip Entertainment and MTN would bring the festival back on the road!
