It was not the usual ‘mennte ooo, mennte oo’ performance. This time around, Kuami Eugene switched the style up as he delivered an enthralling 30-minute performance at the MTN Music Festival.
Making entry with his latest single, ‘Obiaato’, the Lynx Entertainment act, clad in a sea blue kaftan with a white sneakers to match, mesmerized patrons with his repertoire and dance moves.
The audience appeal was profound as patrons sang along and danced their hearts out to the well-rehearsed performance. Among the songs Kuami Eugene performed were ‘Angela’, ‘Confusion’, ‘Adwenfi’, and ‘Aku Shika’.
Held at the Accra International Conference Centre, Friday, December 6, the MTN Music Festival (Farmers Day edition) celebrated and expressed the cultural heritage of the Ghanaian through music.
The MTN Music Festival is organized in partnership with Slip Entertainment and it’s held as a prelude to key national holidays including the Independence Day and May Day celebrations.
Other performers who graced the occasion were Rex Omar, Amakye Dede, Samini, KiDi, Kyekyeku Band and Ramzy. The event also saw hiplife artistes Exdoe, T-Blaze, Prince Bright as surprise acts.
