Singer and songwriter Kurl Songx has admitted to offending some people in the music industry since he began his music career.

The musician shared this in an interview with radio personality Nana Romeo on the Ayekoo Ayekoo midmorning program on Accra 100.5 FM.

“I have made mistakes in the past while growing up in my [music] journey. In the cause of my journey, if I have stepped on anyone’s toes, be it the ones I know or the ones I have no idea about, I’d like to take this big platform to ask for forgiveness,” he said.

Romeo wondered if he had suffered negative consequences for offending some people in the music industry.

“Of course,” he responded.

He noted that he likes to keep details out of public discourse because of how sensitive the issues are.

“But we’re humans. I want to be very honest. There are some offenses I committed that I might know about, while there are others I might not know about,” he added.

Kurl Songx, in conclusion, asked for forgiveness, although he recognised “it is not easy to forget.”
