London-born Hiplife artiste, Junior Kwarteng Williams known in show business as Kwarteng drops his first single of the year titled “Popping Bottles” featuring Lynx Entertainment “Rockstar” Kuami Eugene.
Known for amalgamating Hip-Hop/Highlife, the track has a westernized Hiplife driven beat and comes with energetic, and insightful lyrics.
Popping bottles stresses on the need to enjoy one’s life to the fullest; whenever people hit the club or any night party, without worrying about how much is being wasted on drinks or food.
The beginning of the song goes like, “Celebrate, popping bottles, see my girl she’s a model, popping bottle, wo sika wo hen, popping bottles”.
Popping Bottles video has been watched more than 5 million times since it was launched.
The LeFeva Records star said his vision is to help bring Ghanaian music to the world as people in Europe, US and others countries embrace Nigerian artistes like Wizkid, Davido, others.
As a UK-based Ghanaian artist, Kwarteng’s dream is to take Ghana to the international market level for music gurus like Drake, Chris Brown, Cardi B, others to request for a collaboration with him or any Ghanaian artiste.
Kwarteng’s forthcoming projects features Nigerian artist Wande Côal and other surprising three singles lined up will be dropped soon.
Junior Kwarteng Williams was born in London but came to Ghana aged 2 till he was eight years and went to America.
