Peace FM's Entertainment Show presenter, Kwasi Aboagye, has issued a seven-day ultimatum to Afia Schwarzenegger, demanding a retraction and an apology for derogatory remarks she broadcasted about him online.

It can be recalled that amid the 'Medikal-MzGee' controversy, Afia Schwarzenegger took to a live social media session with Shatta Wale to express her discontent with certain media figures, directing a barrage of disparaging remarks towards Kwasi Aboagye.

Criticizing what she perceives as a lack of professionalism and intelligence among some journalists, highlighting MzGee's controversial interview with Medikal, Afia Schwarzenegger reminisced about an experience with Kwasi Aboagye at the age of 19, suggesting his inclination towards younger women.

In the same live broadcast, Afia Schwarzenegger claimed that Kwasi Aboagye was not well-endowed and was unable to satisfy her needs.

However, a formal letter from the Peace FM journalist's legal representatives to Afia has surfaced, demanding an apology for insinuating that Kwasi Aboagye pursues underage girls and suffers from impotence.

Afia Schwarzenegger now faces a seven-day deadline to remove the contentious audiovisual content from the internet, failing which she risks facing a libel lawsuit.

"Our client takes notice that you have repeated outright falsehoods against him over a long period, and are now seeking others, including Mr. Charles Nii Armah Mensah to join you in spreading same.

"Once again, he elects to ignore the bare insults but not the false claims of the criminal court of defiling unnamed minors, imputations of impotence, and infidelity of his partner to hurt his family.

"Your written retraction and apology which must be delivered within 7 days from the date above must be unequivocal, unconditional, and subject to prior approval of our client.

"Our client indeed regrets his brief encounter with you while unmarried over 20 years ago. But for the avoidance of doubts, he denies your allegations as completely false and malicious," parts of the statement read.

Background

MzGee, the host of UTV's United Showbiz, has been under fire for probing into Medikal's personal affairs with Fella Makafui, overshadowing his successful O2 Indigo concert in London.

Shatta Wale and Afia Schwarzenegger, close allies of Medikal, have been vocal in their criticism of MzGee, engaging in a social media onslaught against her and several other journalists.

They have criticized several broadcasters, using strong language, and tons of frivolous accusations.
