Artiste manager, Kwasi Ernest has rendered an unqualified apology to Adomaa and her management for comments he made which suggested that the singer is a toddler.

Adomaa secured the spot to perform at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) alongside Efya, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Bisa Kdei, among others at the main event having won the Unsung.

But Kwasi Ernest, making a submission on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz on Tuesday, asserted that Adomaa belongs to Talented Kidz than the VGMAs stage.

He had indicated that the VGMAs stage is too big for Adomaa, adding that she belongs to Talented Kidz, a competition organised by TV3 Network for kids.

“Adomaa is a toddler. Let’s allow the children to grow. We should not rush them. She belongs to the talented kids and the likes… VGMAs stage is too big for her. Talented kids is for grooming. She belongs to talented kids but certainly not the VGMAs,” he noted.

Few hours after news of his comment went viral, the Media Excel boss has apologised to the artiste and her management. In a Facebook post, Kwesi Ernest said his comments were not meant to malign Adomaa.

“My immediate attention has been drawn to a comment I made this morning on hitz fm daybreak entertainment on Adomaa the winner of the 2016 unsung category ...I apologize with all humility to her and her entire management for such comments ...it's not intentional to disrespect her brand and career ...she is got the talent and we must all do our best to push New talent whom God has blessed with special gift ...I sincerely apologize to this effect and such will never occur again ...sis am sorry ...one love to you and your team ...God bless,” he stated.

The event is slated for May 7, 2016 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
