A year ago, rapper Kwaw Kese performed at the Luv FM’s Skuuls Reunion in Kumasi after which he was arrested by the Kumasi police for allegedly smoking marijuana in public.

Exactly a year down the line, the rapper is making a return to the Garden City to perform at the same event.

Kwaw Kese says he is going back to Kumasi with a “beautiful madness” come Saturday as he takes the stage to do what he does best.

“I am going back as the new Kwaw Kesse who is now beautifully mad. I am not going with dirty madness and I am ready to kill the show,” he told Hitz @ 1. The Skuuls Reunion is the biggest outdoor event that draws the largest crowd in Kumasi.

The event creates the platform for various sporting and entertaining activities that evoke exciting memories of old school days as old pals, long lost friends meet to socialize and network.

Kwaw Kesse, who will be performing with Shatta Wale at this year’s event, said patrons should expect a mega show.

The ‘Massa I beg’ rapper said, “This year is going to be mega, looking at the controversy that surrounded the last one, what happened and what I went through, I believe this year the fans will like to come and see the Kwaw Kesse that they saw last year,” he said.

Activities lined up for this year's event include the famous Jama competition, school anthem, rap, dance, Eba and Shito eating and gari soakings competition.
