The King of Kologo music, Ayisoba, is hosting the fourth edition of Batakari Night, an event aimed at promoting the northern Ghanaian smock at the Alliance Francaise this evening.
Held annually, the concert will also feature an exhibition and sale of ‘Batakari’ and other traditional items from northern Ghana.
The event, according to the organisers, will bring together award-winning Ghanaian and some selected international artistes on one stage for a night of non-stop live musical performances.
Music lovers from all walks of life who will throng Alliance Francaise will witness captivating performances from King Ayisoba himself, Atongo Zimba, Wiyaala, Wanlov Kubolor, Kwaw Kese, Yaa Pono, Jamaika, Oluguanzi and Zea (Holland).
The ‘Batakari Night’ is an initiative of King Ayisoba and Pidgin Music, supported by Alliance Francaise-Accra.
