Lad given hope by Mr Hope.

Accra, April 8, GNA - A teenager would have been knocked down instantly and had his wares flattened had it not been the smartness of the driver of Metro Mass Transit Bus, who saved the life of the boy on Thursday evening.

As the driver, Mr Lorbu Hope was approaching the Odorkor traffic light, the lad who was hawking in the midst of the street wanted to play safe by towing the middle course of the road.

In the process, the teenager found that he could not, however the smartness, because the space between cars and the Metro Bus Number GR 2015 U (rpt. GR 2015 U) moving towards Kasoa was too narrow. Realising danger, the teenager quickly shifted on the lane of the Bus but Mr Hope's vigilance caught the figure and halted the bus which brought it face to face with the lad.

After having his life saved, the lad unfortunately continued hawking without the courtesy to say ''Thank you'' to Mr Hope who gave the boy new hope to live.

Rather, commuters on the bus including Ghana News Agency Journalist showered praises and thanks to Almight God and the driver.
