For some weeks now, Akwesi Aboagye of Peace Fm's Entertainment Review has been threatening to point out some gospel artistes who are involved in the act of lesbianism. Just last two weeks, he interviewed a young lady who is involved in the immoral act.
This young lady, who is so much into lesbianism, gave very ''good'' reasons why she is involved in the practice.
She confirmed Akwesi Aboagye's assertion that there are gospel musicians engaged in the act and went further to reveal that she has even dated a female gospel musician in Ghana who has been singing praise and worship songs to God. The female gospel musician in question is also married to a pastor.
Speaking to Flex newspaper in an exclusive interview, Ghana's gospel queen, Ohemaa Mercy admitted that in as much as she is skeptical about gospel artistes involved in lesbianism, she cannot rule out the possibility of having some gospel artistes involved in the immoral act.
She noted that it would be a disgrace to the body of Christ as well as gospel music if indeed some gospel artistes are involved in the act. “I don't believe this story running around but I can't trash it too. The devil is seriously at work and he can use any vessel available for his works. I am forced to believe it's just one of such rumors but if any of the ministers of the gospel through music is involved in the practice of lesbianism, I will advice her to seek spiritual help for some deliverance for her freedom. I believe it's a disgrace not only to gospel music but to the body of Christ''.
In reacting to the story captioned ''Exclusive: Fetish Priest Confirms working with Ghanaian Musicians'', Ohemaa Mercy also noted that in as much as we are in the end times, some fetish priests can come up with such allegations just for the sake of receiving publicity even though they wouldn't be able to mention a single musician's name.
She was of the opinion that so far as some of these things bring shame to the body of Christ, the media should take up the responsibility of naming people involved in any of such acts and leave the innocent ones to continue being a blessing.
“We shouldn't lose sight of possibilities. All I can say is that we are in the end times and a lot of fake people are in the world. We should allow all to grow and the Lord God himself would wipe out the weeds among the plants in his own time.
The other thing is that some of these fetish priests make these allegations just for publicity purposes and refuse to mention any artiste's name. Some of these things leave people speculating and its bringing shame to the body of Christ.
I believe the media owes us a responsibility to name people involved in any of such acts and to leave innocent ones to continue being a blessing to others'' she stressed.
