Popular Nigerian singer Harrysong, who shot to fame in Ghana with his hit single ‘reggae blues’ is pleading with his Ghanaian fans to embrace his new music, and get off the ‘reggae Blues’ hook.

He said he acknowledges the fact that they got to know him because of ‘reggae blues’, but he has new music which are equally as good as ‘reggae blues.’

The singer released reggae ‘blues’ in 2015 under five-star music, and it featured Olamide Iyanya, Kcee, and Orezi. It became an instant hit hours after its official release.

The alteplate music boss is currently in Ghana on a media run to promote his new imprint as well as his brand new single titled ‘chacha.’

‘ChaCha’ in Nigerian slang means brand new, and talks about doing things brand new in whichever situation or area one finds him/herself in.

This comes after Mr Songs as he is fondly called, released his first and second songs for the year titled ’journey’ ad ‘believe’ respectively.

Speaking on Live FM’s ‘live from the capital show he said “we dropped the first single for this year ‘journey’, it was a mid-tempo and an rnb song. And after that we thought to make the fans dance a little bit.”

He noted “the fans asked for something new, and I got inspired by the word new, so I did cha-cha which means brand new. Whatever that you are thinking about that has to do with new things, and this is what it is.”

The song was produced by alterplate’s in-house renowned record producer Dr. Amir.
