Nigerians will “hail” a goat clothed in their national colours on a musical stage than cheer on American rap mogul, Jay Z, says artiste Manager, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson (BullDog).
The A&R Manager of Zylofon Music’s comment come in the wake of two of Ghana’s biggest artistes – Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy experiencing what is said to be the innate attitude of Nigerian music fans towards non-Nigerian acts.
Hanson called on Ghanaians to “learn to love ours” as Nigerians “love theirs.”
“even if a goat clothed in Nigerian colors appeared on a stage with Jay-Z… Nigerians will hail the goat instead of Jay-Z…” reads the statement posted on Facebook by the founder of BullHaus Entertainment.
“they love theirs… let’s learn to love ours…”
