World Oral Health day, which falls on March 20th every year, is celebrated globally to raise awareness for oral health.

In Ghana, World Oral Health is celebrated by Ghana's favorite oral care brand, Pepsodent, together with Ghana Dental Association, Ministry of Health, Ghana Health Service, Ghana education service, Chiefs and opinion leaders, several international partners, and NGOs.

Pepsodent is Unilever's flagship brand with a long history of running programs with school children.

This year's celebration was on the theme Live Mouth Smart, and it witnessed the launch of LittleBrush Big Brush, a new Pepsodent Facebook campaign to make brushing fun for the entire family.

The Aburi hills have become an exercise destination for urban youth and families seeking to maintain a healthy lifestyle. According to a Daily Graphic article, people see the area as an open gym. An estimated 3000 people walked up the hills and were reached by the message of brushing twice daily.
