Writer and host of Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon FM, Sammy Flex, has expressed his disappointment in radio presenter Abeiku Santana’s involvement in the recent police arrest of a young female blogger, for publishing a false story about actor and singer, Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win.
According to Sammy Flex, Abeiku Santana’s support for the arrest was unwarranted, and that a better approach to dealing with the issue could have been adopted.
“Abeiku Santana is a senior person in the media space, and should know better how to handle such issues. …i feel bad about Abeiku Santana leading the attack on the girl”, he mentioned.
Sammy Flex further opined that the police arrest, coupled with revealing the identity of the culprit to the public was unnecessary.
“There was no need for handcuffs. There was no need for showing her face. They could have handled it a better way. She is an amateur in the business and should be forgiven”, he added.
He further cited an incident between 4Syte TV’s false publication about CEO of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah, about his alleged intention to run for presidency. According to Sammy Flex, Nana Appiah Mensah did not issue any police arrest, but rather publicly debunked the story and cautioned 4Syte TV media houses to desist false reports.
