Kumawood superstar Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin before the year 2016 ended gave his fans a song to use for the election and Christmas celebrations.

Weeks after the release of “Mam Boss Papa” song, he put out the music video for the song and as at press time, it had about 377,000 on YouTube. When most people are comfortably enjoying the Steve Gyamfi directed music video, others including Accra FM presenter, Nana Romeo have serious issues with the actor cum musician, Steve Gyamfi who directed the video and concept of the video.

The “Ayekoo Ayekoo” host on Accra FM telling Zionfelix.net about his displeasure said Lilwin and his crew did wrong by shooting the music video at church. The radio presenter real name Abdul Karim Tanko continued that the Kumawood poster boy could have shot the music video anywhere aside church auditorium looking at the content of the song.

Romeo who confessed his love for Lilwin’s works described the concept for the music video as “too bad” which “tarnishes the image of Christianity”. According to him, no individual can shoot such a music video at a Mosque because Muslims will not allow it.

“Lilwin has been entertaining us for long and I know we all love him. He recently released his video for “Mama Boss Papa” song and after critically watching it, I did not like concept of the video. If you listen to the song, it has nothing to do with the word of God but he shot the video at a church auditorium.

The concept for the music video from the beginning to the end was too bad which tarnishes the image of Christianity. You can never do this at where Muslims worship because they will discipline you.

How can you shoot a clip in a church and take along with you alcohol and promote promiscuity there? Angry Nana Romeo bemoaned the actor.

He also called on pastors and Christians to talk against Lilwin’s “Mama Boss Papa” music video to deter other musicians from repeating the mistake.
