Lilwin to chase MTN vendors

Multiple award-winning actor Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as Lilwin confessed not long ago that he lost deals with MTN, Tigo and Coca Cola after his Ghana Meets Naija wee saga, which happened two years ago at the Accra International Conference Center.

The comic actor repeating his ordeal on Kesben FM in Kumasi on Saturday reiterated that MTN and Coca Cola pulled down all billboards that had his pictures the morning after the wee saga mounted in Accra and Kumasi.

According to him, he had no explanation from the company but he kept mute because “I left everything in the hands of God”.

Management of the actor after several checks have noticed that most MTN vendors still use their client’s advertised pictures for the telecommunication company to sell their products after MTN terminated their contract with the actor, an act they find illegal.

Amandzeba Phiiphi Smyth, a member of Lilwin’s team in a chat with DJ Roar on Kesben FM in Kumasi revealed that they are still planning on possible ways to stop the vendors from using the actor’s image to sell their product since MTN is no more working with the actor.

He disclosed that they have written to the third party company, which made the Lilwin-MTN deal possible to stop them from using Lilwin’s image, but their call has yielded no result.

Mr. Smyth commenting on Lilwin’s Ghana Meets Naija wee saga said “it will be sarcastic” for him to be invited again for this year’s concert after what happened two years ago.

Lilwin declined to perform at this year’s Tigo Ghana meets Naija concert when Guru contacted him to perform with him.
