Kumawood lover-boy, Bill Asamoah is currently in Germany’s capital and cultural center, Berlin enjoying his holidays.
The actor on his arrival in the city posted a picture he took with a wax statue of an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for Spanish club Barcelona and the Argentina national team, Lionel Messi.
The Instagram picture, which went viral generated insults for the actor, but Bill Asamoah has told Zionfelx.com that he is not worried about the criticisms.
According to the actor, he has read most of the insults, but he had to laugh over them because he sees nothing wrong with the picture he took with the wax statue.
“I have read a lot of comments on the picture, and I enjoyed them. That is Ghana for you, so I had to laugh it out.”
Bill whose recent movie “Adepa” will be released in days continued that none of his colleagues has called to rebuke him for taking a picture with the wax statue.
“I don’t see why any of my colleagues should call me on the issue because I’m a Barcelona fan, and I love Messi. If I see a wax statue of Messi at a fair purposely for his fans to take pictures, and I do that, there is nothing wrong with it. I took the pictures because my fans know how I love Barcelona and Messi. I have been posting their materials on my Instagram page.”
He made it clear that “I never saw anything wrong with it and I still don’t see anything wrong it.”
Bill quickly added that his latest movie, “Adepa” which features other Kumawood stars like Vivian Jill, Akrobeto, Maame Serwaa, Bernard Nyarko and others will be out in April.
