Lumba And Kojo Antwi Rock Accra

Tickets are selling fast for the musical concerts to be staged by the two most popular musicians in Ghana. While vigourously publicizing their shows, the two musicians, Daddy Lumba and Kojo Antwi, are putting finishing touches to rehearsals for the eagerly anticipated concerts.

Kojo Antwi and Daddy Lumba have been rehearsing feverishly for their concerts. Kojo Antwi and his team have been practicing at the Kata International Hotel in Accra for about 12 hours every day.

Daddy Lumba and his team have also been practicing at the superstar’s home at Dome, near Accra.

For both Daddy Lumba and Kojo Antwi, the end-of -year concerts presents an opportunity to give their fans something very rare in Ghana – live musical concert. It is a case of the new against the old but the speed with which the tickets are being sold makes it difficult, almost impossible to make distinction.

Over the past decade, Kojo Antwi has been performing on Christmas Eve every year. Daddy Lumba is due to perform live – his first performance in Ghana with a live band – next Saturday. Lumba tickets are selling for 150,000 cedis while Kojo Antwi’s is being sold for 200,0000 cedis.

But people are so crazy about these two musicians and in spite of their complaints about the poor state of the economy they are ready to dish out huge sums of money just to see them perform.

Many music lovers are looking forward to both events. For them, it is going to be an even more expensive Christmas celebration. They are optimistic that this will be the best Christmas of their lives – thanks to the genius of Kojo Antwi and Daddy Lumba.
