Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson, last week made a star appearance on Check In Time with Turas on Planet Radio, South Africa’s celebrated urban radio.
Planet Radio is described as one of Africa’s leading radio stations, bringing Africans together through music and lifestyle. Personalities are interviewed on the network and screened live on its TV channel for millions of viewers across the world.
Lydia was arguably the first Ghanaian to have made it on the show to speak on a wide range of issues. She spoke about Ghana’s entertainment industry, her career, personal questions and also reacted to views from listeners and viewers from across the world, especially UK.
She also did talk about her role in South African series, Scandal.
The bubbly actress has been busy shooting in South Africa for weeks on the Scandal set. Days ago she tweeted on social network twitter, saying, “I miss Ghana.”
Close sources told NEWS-ONE that the onetime African Movie Academy Award (AMAA) Best Actress would be returning to Ghana in a matter of a week.
Lydia is the first mainstream Ghanaian actress to feature in Scandal. Her fans are waiting patiently to watch her episodes on the series which also shows in Ghana on eTV.
