Lydia Forson to get support from Okoro, others tonight

Some of the crème de la crème of Ghana’s entertainment industry will tonight converge at the Silverbird cinemas in Accra to support award winning Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson.

The popular brand ambassador for the last edition of the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) is expected to make history as she premieres her debut produced movie, A Letter From Adam, at a grand red carpet ceremony.

A number of celebrities took to social media platforms to pledge their support. Among them were Yvonne Okoro, Eddie Watson, A-Plus and others.

“Super excited for this Friday premiere of Letter From Adam, a Lydia Forson movie…I’m going to be there…Join me.…Be there on time; it is not a concert, it is a premiere…,” actress Yvonne Okoro said on instagram.

‘A Letter From Adam’ is a romantic drama directed by Atlanta-based Ghanaian director, Sam Kessie, and produced and written by, Lydia Forson.

It is a contemporary story about love, loss and hope that will draw audience into a realistic cycle of life seen through the pain of loss, the journey of self-discovery and the courage and strength to find hope in the face of adversity.

Set in the busy, yet simple city of Accra, A Letter From Adam seeks to give audience an often neglected truth about love—that love doesn’t always come in the form one expects it to.

It stars Lydia Forson, Nollywood’s Wale Ojo, Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku, Akorfa Edjeani, Albert Jackson, Jeff Kumordzie, Louie Lartey, Fred Kanebi and a number of other new faces. Lydia earlier downplayed claims that the story had something to do with her personal life.
