Clara Benson, known in showbiz as Kumawood actress Maame Serwaa, has disclosed that she will handle the funeral arrangements for her late mother, who passed away a few days ago.
YEN.com.gh reported that Maame Serwaa lost her mother after a short illness, in Kumasi.
The actress at the time of her mother’s passing, was in Accra planning a mega celebration for children, and quickly rushed back to Kumasi to be with her family when the news broke.
According to a Ghanacrusader.com report, the actress has said her mother deserves a befitting funeral and she plans to make sure it happens.
Madam Rose Benson’s one-week observation is slated for Sunday, December 17 in Koforidua, in the Eastern Region.
She left behind three children, Maame Serwaa, and two sons. Some Ghanaian celebrities have already offered their condolences to the actress including Emelia Brobbey and Yaw Dabo, who took time to visit the bereaved family and commiserate with them.
Maame Serwaa is regarded as one Kumawood’s popular actresses, with a list of successful films under her belt.
