Mad Fish |
Expectant fans of Mad Fish in Kumasi who hadn?t seen him before couldn?t help it but join Mad Fish to sing Yahooya yahooya yahoo ya ya yai... Mad Fish was the only hiplife star called by Western Union Money Transfer to help in the celebration of their 10th anniversary of being in business.
Before the show, Mad Fish and the hostess of Agoro were at Fox FM to throw more light on the impending programme that will take place at the Culture Centre in the afternoon and the lined up activities.
Mad Fish again went to Invisible FM as a special guest and then to a primary school where the students were going to have a quiz. The kids asked Mad Fish questions about himself and how they could be like him. He answered their questions well and advised them also. With one voice, the kids thanked Mad Fish by saying 'Thank You Mr. Mad Fish'.
The show sponsored by Western Union toured the big cities of Kumasi distributing free gifts like shirts, caps, pens, exercise books and more.
The yellow and black attires that the crowd wore really graced the occasion and matched the colours of Western Union. The show started with some fun games by the kids. Two of Ghana?s topmost gospel artsites; Esther Smith and Christiana Love were also on the bill.
Mad Fish dressed in a black singlet and a pair of khaki pants sparked off chanting some Patua to the crowd that besieged the Cultural Centre to catch a glimpse of him. Mad Fish then slowed down for a moment and made a public announcement about how he is so happy to see his fellow people and thanked them all for gracing the Western Union Anniversary Bash.
The crowd started rushing on him as soon as the intro of Max Wone Me Baby was played, so the show had to be stopped for Fred of Charter House and the security to re-organise the show well. Mad Fish warned the crowd that the party ain?t nowhere near over, and then ripped into his songs again.
The crowd was completely thrilled when Mad Fish stormed the grounds again and some people couldn't help it but join him to dance.
And just when it seems as if the fever is subsiding, Bob Okalla, the one time Concert Party comedian champion cranks up the temperature with funny jokes.
For those who are head over heels with Mad Fish?s songs, you can catch him again this weekend with Obour on his Project Obour.Com at Prempeh Hall and other jamming areas in Kumasi.
