Mentor Orphans Foundation (MOF) a registered NGO founded by Eli Kwashie Kpeglo as an advocacy body set up to seek the interest and warfare of orphans. After successfully having three major projects this year, on 11th Feb,2011, WORLD DAY OF THE SICK celebration in partnership with National Association of Catholic Chaplain(NACC), which free medical services was rendered to the aged and sick from screening of hepatitis B test, blood sugar, Blood pressure check at the Good shepherded Church Tema ect.., Valentine Day(Chocolate Day ) Celebration with Orphans event on 14th Feb, which alot of chocolates was given out to orphans on such day as sign of love as well as wrist pearls(beads) was given out to their care givers, celebrated WORLD BOOK DAY on 4th march to encourage the habit of reading in orphanages and homes, where over 230 books were donated to three orphanages namely New Life Orphanage, Shakinah Orphanage and Teshie Orphanage, on the book tour to autograph the books were Thomas Dye International Make Up Artist from USA, , Robert Fifii Martey Ghana International Athlete from Holland and MOF Ambassadors Eli,Tonia,AFia and Blessing. On 2nd April, come this Saturday, at the New Life Orphanage, Nungua as a way of giving back to society, in line with our objectives, bringing the beauty out of orphans Mentor Orphans Foundation in partnership with Brushes of Africa presents MAKE AN ORPHAN LOOK BEAUTIFUL thereby creating the awareness of the beauty in togetherness, where on such day, each orphans gets Make Over by International Celebrity Make Up artist Thomas Dye from USA, a clean hair cut by Ghana Barber Association members, catwalk/model lesions by Giselaa Gagakuma of Miss Exquisite Face of the Universe, Fashion dress by Afia Anokyewaa from Anokyewaa Stitches,Jewellery & Fashion Accessories by Anthonia Senam Fesu from Tonia Collections, A photo shoot by Don Alabee from Ghananie.com and certificate of participation from MOF & Brushes of Africa.
