Ghanaian “Afro Roots” Reggae artiste and environmental activist, Rocky Dawuni, has urged Ghanaians to be responsible towards their environment in order to ensure a clean Accra as promised by President Akufo-Addo.
According to him besides policies and measures being put in place by the government to achieve a clean Accra, it would require the collective efforts of every Ghanaian to attain that status.
Rocky Dawuni said this in an interview with host of “Hall of Fame” AJ Sarpong, on CitiTv on Saturday 02, February 2019.
The Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter noted that every citizen owes it a responsibility to keep his or her environment clean to complement government’s efforts in making Accra clean.
Rocky Dawuni who is also an Ambassador for Global Alliance for Clean Cook stoves is known for campaigning and amplifying issues of poverty, environmental degradation, water and sanitation issues and women’s rights.
