Man inflicts cutlass wounds on boy 14 for making love with his ward

Breman Brakwa (C/R), Nov. 23, GNA - Mr Kwesi Adu, a 30-year-old farmer from Breman Brakwa, who inflicted cutlass wounds on a 14-year-old boy, Paa Willie for making love with his ward, has been granted 20 million cedis bail by Breman Asikuma Magistrate's Court, presided over by Mr Aseidu Asmah.

Adu, who was appearing before the court for the second time, would re-appear on December 20, 2005.

Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector David Nkrumah Danso told the Court that the accused person was returning from nature's call around 0100 hours on October 12, 2005 and heard an unusual noise in an uncompleted building.

The Prosecutor said Adu went there and saw Paa Willie making love with the victim.

Inspector Danso said the accused entered his room and pulled a cutlass and inflicted a big cut on the right leg of the complainant and while running away with the wounds he collapsed at a spot. The Prosecutor said neighbours, who heard the boy shouting went to his aid and rushed him to the Lady of Grace Hospital at Breman Asikuma, where he was treated and discharged.
