Nana Ama McBrown's ex-boyfriend Okyeame Kwame has come up for praise on social media over his best wishes to the actress following the birth of her first child.
McBrown was reported on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, to have given birth in Canada.
But she remained quiet and only gave a hint about the childbirth the next day. The actress finally confirmed giving birth after releasing beautiful baby bump photos on Thursday, March 7.
Since the photos emerged online, many congratulatory messages have come McBrown's way from friends, colleagues, and other celebrities.
Among the well-wishers was rapper Okyeame Kwame who once dated the actress in a much-publicised relationship.
Taking to Instagram to share one of the many baby bump photos of McBrown, the rapper who is also known as Rap Dacta wrote: "Congratulations @iamamamcbrown."
The award-winning rapper's message, even though very short, has melted the hearts of social media users who have applauded him.
kojo.s.asamoah agreed with Okyeame's post: "There's nothing wrong with maintaining a civil relationship after a failed courtship.
@okyeamekwame you've done what any wise person will do. @iamam@yampomah saw the move as good one and prayed for both families: "Maturity at its peak. God bless both families."
@naa_adukss also wrote: told guys on the page to learn from Okyeame: “The level of Maturity you have shown should be a lesson and a good example to all the boys following”.
ekuah_akoto also had her respect for the Rap Dacta shot up: "I've always and will always respect you for this King @okyeamekwame.”
And so did @derealsis: “Awwwwn this is beautiful. Respect sir!”
The two were lovers around 2004 when Okyeame Kwame had started his solo career after the Akyeame group with Okyeame Quophi split.
The relationship ended without acrimony and the Kwame and McBrown have found lovers they are happily married to.
