Two Ghanaian movie stars, Nana Ama Mcbrown and Edward Kufuor stunned guests as they locked lips on stage at the maiden edition of Golden Movie Awards Africa in Accra on Saturday 27 June as the versatile actress picked up her awards as Golden Favorite Actress.

The Kumawood first lady was named the Golden Favorite Actress of the year which was the only category voted by the public, and before her acceptance speech Nana Ama Mcbrown boldly grabbed Edward Kufuor and gave him a passionate kiss.

Also present on the night were Nollywood’s Ramsy Noah , Comedian AY, Kafui Danku, Adjetey Annang, Gloria Sarfo, Ini Edo, Beverly Afaglo, Selly Galley, Ama Ampofo and DKB, who was the evening’s host.

In an unrelated issue, Nigerian movies 30 Days In Atlanta and Knocking On Heaven’s Door and Ghanaian movies including Devil In the Details, and Made In Agege were the biggest winners at the 2015 Golden Movie Awards.

Knocking on Heaven’s Door won the Best Film nod while Devil in The Details bagged the Best Director nod by Shirley Frimpong Manso.

Yvonne Okyere, who announced her comeback to the silver screen in Love Regardless, emerged winner of the Golden Most Promising Actor award.
