Medikal beats Fancy Gadam to win Best New Act at the Ghana Entertainment Awards USA

The first edition of Ghana Entertainment Awards was held in New York where personalities and individual Ghanaian entertainers who had distinguished themselves in the year under review were honoured for their contribution towards entertainment in Ghana and Africa.

In this scheme, the King of Northern music, Fancy Gadam fell to Medikal as he failed to pick the award for Best New Act.

Other winners on the night include Sonnie Badu, EL, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Ramsey Noah and Rita Dominic of Nigeria
