However, one name that Ghanaians are not paying critical attention to is Kofi Feelings, a Takoradi-based highlife, afrobeats, and contemporary R&B artist.

Kofi Feelings has been in the music industry for over a decade and is gradually penciling his name in the history books as one of the best songwriters to ever emerge from the Western region. He might not be a household name in the music industry, but his songwriting skill is stupendous and must be given the needed attention.

He might also not be a musician with a huge audience, but the few who have encountered him or have listened to his projects will attest to the fact that the young man is highly underrated even in the Western region.

Almost all of his works convey a message, and evoke emotions and connections, coupled with memorable melodies and hooks that are different from others. He has a unique ability to use language effectively in most of his songs, which will keep you glued anytime you listen to him.

Anyone who has listened to his recently released Extended Play (EP) titled 'Increase Your Feelings' will bear witness that Kofi Feelings' ability to think outside the box and come up with unique ideas and perspectives is unmatched. Alongside his understanding of melody, harmony, and rhythm, his ability to create memorable and catchy musical hooks is mind-boggling.

On top of it all, Kofi Feelings boasts good communication skills, the ability to take feedback and criticism, and an understanding of the music industry and current trends.

He was the brain behind all five songs on the 'Jesus Confirm For Me' EP by fast-rising gospel act Sunshine Selina, which featured artists like Joyce Blessing, Uncle Ato, and Ranata Rabbles. The songs on the EP enjoyed massive airplay, bagging four nominations in the 2024 edition of the Western Music Awards organized by Westline Consult Limited.
