‘Meet me in court’ - Akoo Nana replies DKB

Hiplife musician, Akoo Nana, says he "is ready to meet" Comedian, Derick Kobina Bonney popularly known as DKB in court with his lawyers.

DKB earlier this week took offence to the lyrics of a song, titled 'Yawa’ by the hiplife artiste and threatened to sue the singer for making him the theme of the song.

Akoo Nana known in real life as William Ankrah released a new single with some insulting comments targeted at hurting the comedian’s feelings.

Speaking to StarrFMonline.com, Akoo Nana said the beef between him and DKB is about a girl who preferred him to DKB.

According to him, DKB was first to use an offensive word toward him by going about telling people he was cheap by going after his girlfriend.

He said he was only being a true artiste by choosing to react through his music, the one place he finds solace.

“I was only being truthful. DKB was first going to people and telling them s**t about me. So I also sang what I sung. I wanted to show him I am a big dog” he said.

“I am ready for him and I will be very happy if he goes to court as he said. I am ready for him with my lawyers.”

Akoo Nana in his song , 'Yawa' boasts about flirting with the girlfriends and wives of some key entertainment personalities including D-Black, DSP Kofi Sarpong, and comedian DKB and getting away with it.
