Men can sleep with a thousand people without loving them - Counsellor

Theologian and counsellor, Rev. Dr. Abraham Boateng has shared his views on the philosophical differences between men and women regarding sex.

In an interview on TV3, he stated that, unlike women, men can engage in sexual activities with many people without considering the consequences or without emotion.

“A man can enter anywhere. And that is just it. Not thinking about the product, not thinking about what will come out of it. So sometimes he has finished releasing, and he doesn't care about what happens afterwards.

“Women would approach sex from the fact that I love you. That is why I open myself to you. But a man can sleep with a thousand people, not loving them,” he said.

This lack of emotional attachment, according to him, can lead to a lack of responsibility when children are involved.

“When children come in sometimes because there was no bonding, there's no responsibility,” he explained.

Rev. Dr. Boateng appealed to young men, especially those who have fathered children, to take responsibility for their offspring regardless of their relationship with the mother.

"Unfortunately, they link the women, what has happened between themselves and the women, to the children. But the point here is that the child is innocent. The child does not know your issues. So if you have a child, take care of that child. If you don't even like the mother," he urged.
