Gospel songstress Millicent Akua Amoako on February 28th will premiere her debut single "Mensan Makyi" which doubles as her album title.

The vocalist influenced largely by her exposure to music in church, decided to put her message on record with the help of Highly Spiritual’s Kaywa.

Born Millicent Akua Amoako (Mrs.Millicent Davidson Insaidoo), the songstress revealed recording "Mensan Mekyi" as an album for three years gave her the opportunity to gather her praises, worship and thanksgiving to her creator on this first offering which she believes will be very well received.

The six track album has songs including End Time, Ewurade, Jesus, Medawase, and Adwene.

Heavily produced by Kaywa, the album features Zeal King and Uncle Ato.

“I want the messages in the songs to touch people and win souls into God's Kingdom.” Millicent said. “I put in a lot during the three years and listening back to the whole album after years of working on it, it feels refreshing and there are things I sang that really speaks to me personally but I didn’t really realize it till now that it is done.”

The video for "Mensan Mekyi" is ready and will hit TV screens soon.
