Minister Ike wins African Best Gospel Artist of the Year

Sensational gospel artiste,Minister Ike,with the hit song "OGYA",who was one of the Ghanaian artistes nominated at this year's African Entertainment Awards in Canada has won the African Best Gospel Artiste Of the Year Category.

Minister Ike, was the only Ghanaian artiste who won his Category. He faced a stiffed competition from the likes of Focus Way, Icha Kavon (Congo), Nigeria's Foluke and Meezy Musik from congo.

Minister Ike, talking to Reagan Mends of seancitygh.com, said, the Award is a sign of great things to happen to Ghanaian musicians.

"I first of all, thank the almighty God for helping me win this amazing Award. I'm the only Ghanaian who won his category. Its a sign of great things to happen amongst my fellow Ghanaian musicians. I humbly dedicate the Award to all Ghanaians", he told Reagan Mends with much passion.

Other Ghanaian artistes who earned nominations in various categories of the African Entertainment Awards scheme were musicians, Sarkodie,Shatta Wale and Bisa Kdei and TV personality/actress, Joselyn Dumas.

African Entertainment Awards established in 2012 is an annual event which seeks to honour and celebrate individuals who have positively impacted the African Canadian Entertainment industry with their works.
