COME Saturday, December 19 the auditorium of Zenith University College will host a bevy of 18 beautiful ladies who will battle each other for at the maiden edition of Miss Galaxy Ghana beauty pageant.
The contestants are Pearl Agyekum, Cassandra Karikari, Hajarah Issah, Justina Odoi, Merissa Musah, Yaa Konama Acheampong, Barbara McCarthy, Kafui Ahadzi and Nayah Frimpong.
The rest are Valerie Agyeiwaa, Vanessa Asamoah, Gladys Aniagyei, Dalila Sumani, Alexis Ababio, Lydia Wilson, Evette Salifu, Francah Asare and Bertha Esenam Ayena.
To win the ultimate prize of a crown, a MAZDA saloon car and cash, the contestants will go through different tasks such as talent show, individual presentations, dance among others for judges to select a winner.
Apart from the ladies out doing each other, the event will be laced with music and dance perfomances from Atom of Ye Wo Krom fame, Luther, Kobi Rana, Capasta, AJ, Dem Tinz and DJ Young.
The winner who will be an environmental ambassador on a one goal clean campaign project will also walk home with a car and undisclosed cash.
Speaking in an interview with Showbiz, Mawutor Gawornu CEO of Dukes Media House, organisers of the show urged Ghanaians especially students to attend the event.
“Miss Galaxy Ghana is an environmental focus pageant that empowers young ladies to become influential actors in the fight against poor environmental practises in Ghana. Miss Galaxy Ghana is here to stay.
According to him, although this is the maiden edition the show his outfit is prepared to put up a good show on the night.
